I have an old polk audio c4 subwoofer which I would like to hook up to my mono amp (175 @ 4 ohms or 350 @ 2 ohms). I would like to know what the wiring options are for this box which has two sets of terminals. Thanks in advance.

The C-4 uses four 2 Ohm drivers that are wired in series for each pair. Each pair of binding post will connect to one pair of drivers that are mounted in a isobaric configuration and the resistance is 4 Ohms for each pair of binding posts. To obtain a 2 Ohm load just parallel both positive together and both negative posts together and connect them to the bridged output of the amplifier.
this sub was designed to wired 4 Ohm stereo, 8 ohm in series mono, or 2 Ohm mono.

Thanks,
Kim
