hey, the model number for the subs are polk mm2104 and the number for the amp is RFKD301s. I just wanted to know if that amp would put to much power to the subs or if it would be ok. THANKS

that amp will only drive one of those subs
you either need to get a bigger amp or buy another 301s

Are you sure? The place where i got them said that amp would work for for them. How much power is each sub taking?

Check the manufacturer spec's for the MM2104=
Power Handling (continuous) 300 w
Power Handling (peak) 600 w
http://www.polkaudio.com/car/specs.php?name=mm2104
The box shows 300W peak but it is wrong.
Take a look about it at this link:

you want an amp with a rating of 600x1 @ 2ohms RMS
if you want to stick with Rockford Fosgate, then get the 601S
heres a link (http://www.acaraudio.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=19&products_id=305)
oo, and just out of curiosity, who told you that amp would work with these speakers?

buy a JBL BP 600.1 --- its like 170 bucks on ebay -- bring back the rockford 301S -- you'll probably break even.
