View Full Version : Mm10
I just ordered one Polk Audio/MOMO MM10 and was wondering if my Blaupunkt PA2150 will put out enough power for it. I am new to this car audio stuff and have no clue.
Thanx
LDR,
A lot will depend on your type of music along with the level that you like to listen too. The Blaupunkt PA2150 has a bridged power rating of 400 Watts into a 4 ohm load. This should be fine for most applications. If you like to crank it, then we recomend using a amplifier that has a bridged power rating of 500 to 800 Watts into a 4 Ohm load. Set the crossover frequency to 80 for both the low pass and high pass crossovers.
Thanks,
Kim

i reccomend 800, ear muff's, and if they make them - testicular muffs, then sit back and enjoy the ear bleeding bliss that is bass.
realistically -- 400 - 500 "will do the job" as kim said - but anythign over 500 would be more ideal for most listeners who like a nice hard slammage.
