Hi all. I'm looking for a pair of floorstanders to use as surrounds. Yes, I know, it's crazy. If you have any of the speakers I've listed, please let me know. Thanks.

Thomas

There are R series towers in the flea market RIGHT now.

Did you look around at all?

Cheers,
Russ

Thanks Russ. I didn't know if he still had them for sell, or not. I just got a pm from him, and it turns out he does.

I don't think floorstanding surrounds is crazy. I'm using RT600i's and love 'em :)

out of curiousity what size room do you have. i have some r40s
(not selling though sry) and i just put them in as my rear speakers. i didnt realy like the sound at all though.

maybe you can clarify for me, i thoght that rear spearkers where suppose to be ambiant noise. floorstanding speakers are direct fireing and its pretty easy to decifer where the sound is comeing from. i resently switched to some bose 201s and i like the sound alot more.

basicly im just curious ...

Thomas, just noticed on your sig that you own the Carver 505. How do you like this amp?

Hi King. The amp suits me just fine. It has more than enough power to run my 7's. I'm pretty happy with it. :)

I should've purchased the Carver when Onecall had it on sale, but I couldn't find any review on it. I'm glad that the Carver works out for you.
