I was missing the ability to watch BD Concerts, and a few weeks ago I saw last years Sony BDP-S580 at my local Walmart for $109 and decided to snatch one up at that price. It also plays SACDs, and it is always nice to have a backup player just in case. It was money well spent...

Don't rush out and pay full price, I got her CD for $1.99. She is enjoyable for sure, but probably won't knock your socks off. Sometimes a good, real voice and nice pop hook is just what the Dr. ordered :smile: Maybe grab it off Amazon used.

Ouch...sorry to hear that. 175 is a nice amount, though, and building from scratch in the last year means your collection is really good stuff that you really want to listen to.

We may be moving this summer and I think I will use that time to 'purge' my collection of the ones that I don't listen to and the ones I bought early on that are in bad condition. I'm at about 300 and would like to be at about 200.

I only listened to disc one so far, and I thought it sounded good. I have never owned the album before so I have nothing to compare it to, but I was pretty happy with the sound quality. And I really liked the album...
