The new RTi6's arrived today from Newegg. They'll be going in the bedroom eventually, but I'm going to break them in on the main setup with my Anthem Integrated first. I've owned a pair of these before, but I'm still going to play my favorite go-to disc for evaluating new gear first on them. I paid something like $339 for the pair I used to own back in 2005 on sale at Tweeter, what a great deal these were at $149!!

i listened to that version of whipping post the other day at concert volumes...the drums were incredibly inventive...surprisingly, duane's gtr comes up in the mix for only some key phrases...mostly, it was a betts' powerhouse of creativity..remember when fm stations would play this song??

Indeed i do. Back in the early 70's before they all got bought out by Clearchanel and the rest of the conglomerates. When they would play whole album sides. Now its top forty playlists. YUK

i remember the cool stations' dj's all sounded like stoners...they also had the chimes going on while they were talking and psychedelic sounds...i guess the biz model back then let them pay the bills in the morning and early pm..then at night it was time to kick back and enjoy uninterrupted tunes

The Beatles Original Master Recordings "The Collection" by Mobile Fidelity...

Currently on the "White Album". These are the best Beatles recordings ever produced IMHO, with absolute black backrounds, zero hiss, no clicks or pops. Just the Beatles as they were meant to be heard. Even on the little Maggies, they sound absolutely alive. I cannot wait to hear them again in a few weeks on the Big Maggies and the Tube Amps.

Rick if your a Joe Walsh fan, then I highly recommended it. I'am on my third listen at this very moment. Its a very good listen classic Walsh riffs and you can tell how much better it is than the last couple although The Confessor was good especially the title song get it it's good Fishbones a hoot.
