Nad L70 receiver/DVD player combo unit?

Is anyone here familar with this unit? I can get a brand new in factory sealed unopened box NAD L70 receiver/DVD player combo unit from a factory authorized brick and morter dealer with full warranty for $500, which is half price 50% off. Should I pull the trigger on the NAD unit at this price? Or can I do better in a receiver AND a DVD player for $500? Thoughts?

sounds like a good deal to me, the only thing about NAD is they dont ususally have the bells and whistles that other brands do. i dont know about this particular receiver but a receiver and a dvd player for $500 sounds nice to me.
