I havn't gotton around to making a selaed box for my MM124, but i still have an old custom made dual bandpass box that was made for me back in 1992 for an orion xtr12, will the MM124 be ok in this box until i get the other one made? I would hate to damage the momo.

I doubt it would damage the Momo but I wouldnt mess with the bandpass. They are a real pain to get dialed in right and will just plain sound like shit until they are right. If it worked for the Orion then it might not work for the Momo.

I would recommend a sealed box over any other type of enclosure anyway. You get tighter bass from a sealed and the sub can handle more power in a sealed.

Also you wont get many humps in your frequency response with a sealed.

Bottom line? Forget about the bandpass and go with the sealed. It may not be as loud but it will be a lot cleaner, tighter, faster and better than the bandpass.

Yeah, i know a sealed is better for the M124, i just havn't had the time to make the box for it yet.

I went ahead and hooked it up today for shits N' giggles, it was great for the orion, but for what i want, it's not gonna cut it.

Tomorrow i'm gonna make just a simple sealed box for the M124 until i can get more time to make a proper steath box for it, plus i'm having a hard time finding carpent to match my truck.
