powering 2 mm120s

i want to power two mm120s
ive been looking at rockford fosgate's 1000D momo amp
is it stable at 2 ohms running 500 to each speaker?

Great choice! This amp will drive these subs just fine. I would suggest keeping the "Punch Bass" set to zero. This will result in a cleaner, more detailed bass response. Plus the amplifier won't have to work as hard when played at louder listening levels. With this combination, install each MM120 into a sealed enclosure that has a volume of .88 cubic feet per woofer and seal all interior seams with a silicone caulking. Allow 40 hours of playing music at a reasonable level to let the woofer's suspesion "break-in". Use 3/4" MDF for the box building material.
