...stopped by to grab a few Oscars...and it has been a shitty Oscar year for everyone else :) hah..

It's a great movie, but if the outcome became so obvious, it is not much fun watching the show, other than to see Billy.

Agree... Although I thought at least one other nominated film was more deserving than ROTK, it was good to see Jackson and Co. recognized for their cumulative LOTR effort.

The opening stuff Crystal did (film montage and best pic nominee serenades) were hilareous... I thought so too in addition some of his one liners were also pretty funny. On other parts of the show.......Angelina Jolie certainly caught my attention and as usual Charlize Theron was simply gorgeous. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but she makes my jaw drop every time I see her at one of these shows.

I enjoyed the music as well. I thought all the live performances were well done and does anybody have a more beautiful voice than Allison Krauss? Not that Annie Lennox is any slouch.

Having said all that........Did anybody else who watched the ABC preshow find it painful to watch? I found all the interviewers to be embarrassing. But maybe its just me.
