The link to the auction above is my auction. I'm sorry I didn't hear from you sooner spastic. I really need to get as much as I can for these things...had some unexpected daycare expenses come up.

I started the bidding low (I've found you get a better return on ebay if you get people bidding...seems like if I start a bid high no one will bid until the last minute...start it low and they'll often bid like crazy and you wind up with a higher price) but expect it go up. I've got a pair of rti28s on there too and they are over 150 already, with 6 days left. Unreal.

Again, sorry I didn't hear from you sooner man. I'm just needing to sell off some stuff right now and I need to get whatever I can out of it.

Will trade you a steller pair of 38's or 28's for a pair of rt35i's. I bought them as garage speakers and have both the 38's and 28's playing in a quad setup in the garage.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about this trade/swap and I think I'm going to step away from it. I got such a great deal on my 38's and 28's I would hate to give them up.

FYI I found a pair of black open box 28's at my local CC today. If you are interested in them I can pick them up and ship them to ya.

As for my decision I am sorry if I got your hopes up too much but once I thought about giving up the 38's or 28's for an older model speaker that was 3rd hand, it's just not something I felt comfortable with. I have had good dealings with buying and selling on this forum so far and wouldn't want this complicated deal to ruffle anyones feathers.

I am still going to be keeping my eye out for a good pair of RT25i's but I think I will buy them directly and if I decide to sell any of my speakers I will post them here first.

I assume you got the speakers then from the seller we both e-mailed last night? and auction which is now ended> I e-mailed them and they said,

"Sorry, but another company member ended the auction"

in a e-mail this morning... i got from them,,, :rolleyes:

Oh well spastic, we will get our own speakers i suppose...

Nope I didn't get the speakers we were looking at on ebay, I didn't even get an email back from the guy. I guess someone else gave him a better offer.

No harm no foul, karma seems ok to me.

I can still get those open box 28's :)
