I'm looking at these amps for my car: Sony XM 6001GXD and a SONY XM-3001SXD. I have 1 Polk MM120 in the .88 box. Any suggestions on which one would be most efficient? If these won't do, are there any others that you could recommend?
Thanks,
Ben
Ben,
These two amplifiers have the exact same power rating.
I would suggest using the XM-6001GXD because it is part of their "ES" series and these amps have a 2 year warranty instead of the 1 year warranty that comes with the XM-3001SXD. The "ES"
amplifier have always been very well built and are better sounding. It is well worth the $ 50.00 extra.
Thanks,
Kim
