Tubmyster,
The amplifier choice willl depend on how you want to wire the subs to the amplifier. The C-300.2 is not a 2 Ohm mono stable amplifier and you would need to operate the amplifier in the stereo mode. This will only give you a power rating of 150 Watts x 2 into a 4 Ohm load The mononblock C-500.1 is rated at 500 Watts x1 into a 2 ohm mono load. This is the ideal load for this amplifier. I think that the C-500.1 would make a much better choice for driving a pair of the MM2104 subs.
If you have any questions regarding these amplifier give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time Monday through Friday and we will be glad to help.

Thanks,
Kim

I would not use polk amps because their amps do not match their subwoofers
im not sure what the 2104 is rated at...is it 400 watts?
well, assuming its 400 watts
running a single 300.2 to it would be ideal
even though its rated at 550
you would have to keep the gain down
if you wanted to run 2 subs...then the only amp polk offers would be the c500.1
but this amp only puts out 500 watts x1 at 2 ohms
you would be getting 250 to each sub
150 less than what you could run it at
1 2104=1 polk c300.2
2 2104=look somewhere else for an amp besides polk

I would add that Polk amps are way over priced. Not that they are bad amps but, for that price, Id take a JL Audio or Xtant before a Polk.

As for your application, Id suggest this Coustic (http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/COU801DB). Its a very good amp and puts out exactly what you want, 400x1 or 400x2 and at $280 aint a bad deal.
