Console

I've been looking in my car (86 LeSabre) and I have decided to look into building a console under the ash tray. What would be used to build this and attach it? I would like to possibly put my deck in this, or a compartment for my cd's. I figure I'd just use MDF, and some blue carpet that matches my interior, but I'm not completely sure that the way to go. Can anyone think of any problems I might run into trying this? Like I said before the only thing im 100% unsure of is how to attach it and make it not move.

If you show us some pics of the dash..and where ya want to put it...i'm sure this forum can come up with something!. I'm not familliar with your vehicle.
