Connecting HT system

Does anyonr know where I can find basic instrctions (with diagrams) on how to connect a complete HT system together includind AVR, DVD, VCR and satellite dish? I would like to know the best way to connect the components together and what cables to use. Thanks.

You should be able to use your AVR manual to get the basic setup down, it should have diagrams to help out.

Hey Belling, I received this manual a couple of years ago free with a purchase I made. It has step-by-step directions with labels. Well worth $13. If I still had it I'd send it to you, I never even used it.

My receiver is a Panasonic SA-HE100. I wanted more detailed instructions with explanations why a certain way is better and why a certain type of cable is best. Nothing super detailed, just better than you get in a manual. I took Grimster74's advise and sent for an informational booklet from Crutchfield. Thanks. If anyone knows of a web site with info, I would appreciate that also.
