I am looking to get an antenna for my receiver. I am tired of the crap reception the wire gives me. I am near an executive airport, and I think they kill my reception. My cell phone works like crap in my house, but works great everywhere else I go.

Anyway, I sound like a grumpy old man  My question is, in my looking around for a good amplified antenna for my receiver I have come across digital AM/FM antennas. Can any explain that to me? I don’t see how digital can be associated with AM/FM signals in the first place?!?!?

agreed and furthermore the bad cell phone reception is not bad because of jamming but the FAA limits tower height around all airports which is the reason for that.

In building out wireless networks across the country it seems to me you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an airport somewhere!

I can listen to the music channels form my DirecTV feed, but I want to listen to my local radio stations :(

And it does not help that I am about 3 blocks from the airport too!!
