Other then the tweeter or cabinet finish. What is the difference crossover ? Is the tri lam tweeter better?

I'm I missing something? I like the my RTi150's but some say the tweeter is not good, the tri lam tweeter is better.

Funny that just just posted this...

Did you see my thread on the Trilams in the 150s?

Anyway, it's a matter of personal preference. I personally like the trilams a little better, but not really by much. I'll put it this way, I don't like then more enough to get rid of my 150s, not by a long shot.

Yes, you'll find a few negative posts about the 150s out here, but I think many of those are a result of lack of power pushing those speakers...these things need lots of juice...

The tweeters in the 150s aren't bad, some people just like the trilams better...

I love my 150s now that they've got some power, and won't be getting rid of them until I can afford some LSi..

Yes, seen your post on tri lam tweeter on RTi150's. LOL.

I'm wondering why you said that, and if others feel the same way.
I have an used RTi800 tweeter I could try. But really I thinking to replace my CS400i for CSi40 due to the tweeter. I find to Tri-Lam tweeter a bit much tinny. So I again thinking I maybe missing something. Maybe it just my taste, I wouldn't change a thing my the RTi150's. Just love to mids / highs / lows, great speaker a b*&^% to drive but nothing can be 100%.

yeah, it's just a matter of personal teste...

Most likely those trilams in my 150s would sound like crap, was just entertaining the idea...

I'll see if this is true, sound like crap thing. Going to mount my spare RT800i tweeter to my RTi150 only 1 side so I can do an A/B comparison. Should be able to pull this off by tomorrow am, I hope so anyway.
