anyone ever heard of these or this brand? can you tell me anything about them? i found a pair locally.. and was curious about them.

I had a pair in 1979 and I loved them. They lasted me for ten years and then I lost them in a hurricane. I would love to find some of them.

I've since sold these to a friend for more than twice what i paid for them. $25 ;)

Just today I received a pair of Criterion 200 As (originally purchased in 1964 (!) as I was told). When I googled for them I found this thread and registered. As your posts started back in 2004 I'm curious whether there's still some interest in this topic - ? Well, I have theme here, did some comparative listening and could report my experiences if anybody asks for it :-)

with my limited experience with Criterion speakers... they are nothing to write home about. I had a pair in my house for about 3 monht's I got from GoodWill.. i tried to like them... but just couldn't. so I gave them back to GW for someone else to try out.
