i just bought a set of polk mm455's and was wondering what type of amp i should get to power these (as well as some rear speakers, later on)?
I was looking at the Rockford Fosgate Punch 400.4 ...
Brian,
Look for a two channel amp that has a power rating of 150 to 200 Watts per channel to get the best possible performance from these speakers. I would suggest looking at the Power 800a2. This is a one good sounding amp when matched with these component speakers. Set the high pass crossover to 90 Hertz
and allow 40 hours of playing music at a reasonable level to let the driver's suspension "break-in". If you have any questions, give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time and we will be glad to help.
Thanks,
Kim
