Any thoughts? Just got my self a sunfire amp and verry happy with the sound but its runing through my yammy avr rx2300 and Im gonna move it to the bedroom and make a pure two channel rig with some sda1cs that Im getting. But back to the point, I should be getting a good deal on it, by the way how much should one of these go for new, and I wanna get into tubes but if the sunfire is crap please let me know or if there is better out there I wanna know also. Thanx for the help.:D

Better ? There's always better out there regardless of where you draw the line. You wanna spend $25k for a tube preamp that MIGHT be the best one out there ? You can ...
The Sunfire is about $1500 MSRP and half that used.

I like the amp but I have heard that the sunfire sounds dirty because of the tubes. the tubes are change able right?

You can roll tubes in any tube Pre.
Suggest you try a Dynaco PAS 3 or 3x. Always a few on ebay going in the $125 to $200 range. Much cheaper way to test the proverbial waters.
What Sunfire did you bag?

No, Which Amp???
I don't have any tube equipment myself, but I'm pretty sure that you can change tubes in almost any case. Just have to make sure it right type or design..
