**good Or Bad Purchase?**

Just bought these from audiogon,a pair of monster cable z2 bi-wire 10 ft pair for $150 shipped.Did i do good or bad at this price?Does anyone have any experience with this series of wire from monster?

I just hope they are long enough,i know the left one is ok but the right side is going to be close,i saw someone on ebay that is selling bulk z2 cable by the foot so i could always add to the right cable if i have too.

Depending on how it is terminated, why couldnt you add length to the bi-wire end if the terminals are the removable type?Even if they are not removable why couldnt you just remove the terminals add the required length of wire and reterminate,using of course the same wire to lengthen.The only thing that would be of question would be how to connect the two wires together,could solder them and add some nice heat shrink over the solder? Dont really want to do this but if it can be done economically and right,it would be possibility.Whata you all think?

You really don't want to be adding added connections to a speaker wire run. Signal loss is a real possibility.

Yeah, it probably isnt a good thing to do the more i think about it,it was just a thought.It just sucks the way the cables have to be longer for the right side because of the equipment being located to the far left.It just makes buying cables tougher.If i end up needing a longer cable i will just move one cable to the center channel and make a new one out the bulkz2 cable.The source i found the cable from even provides the correct monster shrink tubing included in the price per foot .Then all i would need would be the termination for the ends.

Great Buy! You should like the Z2. Thats the same cable I use on my system!
