I want to give my parents a seperates system for the bedroom and I'm looking for a good quality 2 ch amp under $200 to power a pair of RT5. So far the 80w/ch Audiosource is on my list. partsexpress.com is selling them for $199.

For a new integrated amp that Audiosource looks pretty good.

If used is an option, as always, it brings some interesting vintage options into consideration...

Not planning to buy used because I need something small. Just a good new SS amp. You're right, that Audiosource could be an int. Are those volume knobs on the front?

Would appear that's what they are.... All AudioSource Stereo Amplifiers have these same features and specifications: * Left and right channel level controls * Toroidal power supply * Line output jacks * Stable into 2 ohm loads * THD: Less than 0.04% * S/N Ratio: Greater than 110 dB, 2 dB headroom.

Sweet:) Thanks for the specs and description. I was planning to let them use the Rotel pre until I get the LSi9 up and running again in the future. I've already got a great Technics double deck tape player. Will probably buy a cheap $100 DVD player for CD. They're already using the RT5's with an Aiwa boom box. Should be a good system when completed.

Ladies,

It's not an integrated amp. It's a power amp with input level controllers. All Audiosources have input level controls. They're all power amps too. Gonna need a switchbox or preamp for multi-sources.

Thanks for the info GG. I guess I'll use the Rotel pre with it.
