Now we can't even talk about beer without an "argument" erupting....oh wait..."slight misunderstanding", excuse me.

Justin has to create a sub-forum, for politics only....because we just can't seem to use the "ignore" feature.

This is getting old, and pathetic.

I recall this being a fun place.

I recall being excited to see the next batch of threads, and witty repartee' between members.

I recall being told about some real cool people who used to be here, and participate.

I recall wondering why they would leave, since it's so cool here.

Blah blah blah, it's just pointless to even talk anymore.

None of this is directed at anyone in particular, just thoughts.

I blame TV. Maybe the FCC could step in and save us from ourselves. :)

I don't want to get to philosophical but I think this is a matter of perception. If you don't want to be offended don't be. People resort to name calling and swearing when they lack the vocabulary to express themselves otherwise. I guess what I am really trying to say is, F*em.

There seems to have been a slight misunderstanding which I think has been cleared up. Nothing to get upset about.

Burn-out is a drag. My treadmarks are somewhere on the road... the wheels are about to fall off and the gas tank is running off of water I poured in earlier.... dont think she'll hold much longer, but those service stations sometimes pop out of nowhere..

Yep...VERY LITTLE real audio, video, gear, music and movies dicussed here anymore. OFF TOPIC has 15,000 more posts than any other forum (speakers) and has 30,000 to 40,000 more than the majority of the forums. After you knock out the "what do you think I should buy" topic there is very little interesting stuff left. (it's ok to ask what might go well, but how the hell can we decide what anyone else will like - listen and decide for yourselves). I notice my ignore list getting larger and larger - but that's ok because the ones on my ignore list NEVER seem to be involved in any of the good audio stuff anyway.

I'm not going away but I find myself skipping over more and more posts. And it isn't just here...the same problems hold true on othe forums I visit. Well...thats the internet for you...

Thanks for the comments, and love the pic RonP :D

I don't mean to imply that I am 100% outta here, but a vacation is in order :) Gonna lurk for awhile.

Shack - Yea, that's about right....good way to put it.

Tech - I also include Janets' breast in this whole problem.

Steve - One of the Parasound brotherhood :)

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was feeling the exact same way not too long ago. Just a whole lot of negativity and nothing constructive going on at all. Then Spydie showed up. You know what they say, you have to hit rock bottom before you can get better. :D Now I'm posting more than ever!

I've been trying to keep my posts purely audio lately. It takes away a little fun but it keeps me interested and away from all the bullshit.
