I have a decision to make regarding my stereo setup. I originally bought a pair of LSi 25's and a NAD T763 reciever witht he intention of going to HT in the future. The thing is I've mostly been using it exclusively for music and am wondering whether I should satisfy my musical cravings before I go HT. I'd like to get more out of my system musically, so I'm wondering if I should consider getting a seperate amp and using the reciever as a pre-amp. Since I will be interested in HT eventually, should I look into multi-channel amps or just stick to two-channel for my LSi25's? I'm kind of torn as to which direction to proceed......

I'd just get a 2 ch amp for the fronts for now...you can always get another amp for more speakers later.

Besides, even when going HT, there's a really good chance that you'll still want a 2 ch amp alone driving those fronts...

Try looking at a higher end Intergrated Amp with Home Theatre by-pass.

The Sim Audio Moon i-3 and i5's would be a good mate. The Classe' 101 or 151's have home theatre by pass as well. This will allow you to take advantages of both the pre amp and amp sections over your existing NAD, and with the by pass, you can hook it up via the NAD without ever losing the pre-amp section of the higher end Intergrated. The NAD will simply act as a gain switch.
