FX1000 Query

I have fx500s for surrounds and was wondering if the face mounting plate on the 1000s is the same distance from the top of the speaker as the 500s. Any help would be glsdly appreciated, although i still have to find a pair somewhere?!

Thanks for posting. I'm not sure I understand your question, however. Are you wanting to know if the notched openings, on the back of the FX1000 are the same distance from the top of the rear of the cabinet as the FX500?

Sorry, what i meant was that i have 500s and they are mounted close to the skirting. If the mounting plate is lower on the 1000s then i would have to reposition the screws etc.

the f/x 1000's is nearly 4 1/2" longer and has two mounting plates,so you will have to had two more screws and you may have to move the other ones depending on obstructions.
