I recently installed two Polk MM100 subs in my car. Shortly thereafter they began to make a popping noise. I believe that it is a problem with the voice coil. I am powering them with an Alpine MRV-1507. I checked all they connections and hooked the amp up to my friends sub and the amp and connections are all fine. I know i am still under warranty and was wondering what I should do from here. Thanks, Mike.

Mike,
Sorry to hear about the problem with your MM100's. Are both woofers making this "popping" sound? Are the woofers installed into a dual .66 cubic feet sealed 3/4" MDF enclosure? If they are "popping" it could be cause from air leak in the enclosure or around the woofer's mounting flange. If everything checks out to be fine, then return the woofers to our service department for exchange. The address is Polk Audio 2550 Britannia Boulevard
Suite D San Diego, CA. 92154. Include a short note with your name, address, daytime phone number, descripition of the problem, along with a copy of your receipt. These woofers have a 3 year warranty. If you return them to our service department by using a UPS or FedEx second or third day air, make sure to state
that in your note and we will return the new woofers to you in the same method of shipping. If you have any questions don't hesitate to give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time. We will be glad to help.

Thanks,
Kim
