The rear speakers are MMC690's.

I did all the custom work and install myself. What do you guys think?

Couple problems I ran into. The subs hit so hard that they hit the speaker grilles and it doesnt sound pleasing, any fixes for this? I wanna keep the grilles, they look sweet.
Second, my speakers are now picking up a transmission whine. What are some ways to solve this? Ive heard similar problems with friends. Is it a grounding issue or a wire routing issue? if its a routing issue, is there any way I can insulate the wires better since there isnt any other ways of routing the wires.

thanks guys, let me know what you guys think.

very cool install. for the grille issue, it's been noted by polk; the fix for now is to dremel out the offending bits of the grille... i'm sure cody can offer more detail on this part. for the alt whine (i assume this is what you're referring to), all i know how to do is check the grounds; make sure they're big cable and on bare metal. if you used good cable, there's not much more you can do there if there's no alternate routing paths.

looks sweet!
only thing you can do about the grills is dremel em out...i did...wasnt hard...but it gave me a headache cuz of the smell the melting plastic was giving off
i wouldnt run more than 500 watts to em though...they tend not to like it much

Very nice and very professional looking.

Mega kudos for doing the work yourself. Shade tree installers are a dying breed Im afraid!

WOW!! really nice install, looks like you spent a good chunk of change on all that. What kind of RCA's did you run to your amps and where in the car did you run them? I had a similiar whine issue in my car and it turned out to be a result of interference entering the system through inferior RCA's. I replaced the inexpensive RCA's I used originally with 2 sets of Stinger Expert Series ($$) RCA's from theinstallationshop.com and that cleared up my whine issue beautifully, and improved my SQ/fidelity like 200%.

Again super job on a sweet install.

Looks good! Only thing I would've done different (which wouldn't be that hard to change) would be to flush mount the x-overs. It'd look a lil more sleek and you wouldn't see any wires. Good job BTW!
