Twin mm12's this amp too much power?

I am going to be replacing the lame amp that i have powering my twin MM12's now that they are properly broken in, I hear stories about how even a bit too much power will kill these subs fast but im sick of underpowering them. I love MTX amps and was looking for opinions on this amp for my MM12's Thunder 1501D (http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/thunder1501D.cfm)

that should do fine, as long as theyre wired in parallel..but some of the other, more expierenced guys might give you a better opinion
