Help! I have the opportunity to audition LSi15's but have to decide if I should buy 9's....I dont have access to LSi9's (dealer doesnt have em in stock) but need to decide if I should buy em or not.
Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between the 15's and 9's? In the way they sound? Thank you ...Kris

I had both and compared the two but it was before either one broke in. The 9's didn't do it for me because the bass cut off a little too soon. I was using them for 2 channel, not HT. For HT use with a sub I would say either one is fine.

i have both running as fronts, both sound great. If had to choose, i think i'd go with the 9's for tow channel.

Which sub are you going to add?

I have a 202 polk sub, but it sounds like crap.....the thing is, just cos this is the cheapest of em all, Polk have decided not to provide a dedicated LFE input without active filters....this adds up to having two filters instead of one (from the rec and the sub) and tends to make the bass boom. I did try to experiment with room placement and the best Ive come up with is by raising the sub on a stand (Ive raised it nearly one and a half feet) and place it away from the wall (atleast one foot away). I dont like boomy bass...like the bass you hear on the road lol some cars with boomy subs make me irritable :p I like bass tight and classy :p
I am gonna upgrade this sub to either the 303 or the 404.....but that of course is for later. Do you have any subs to sell? Kris
