It may just be me, but I thought this movie was excellent! The acting wasn't as good as it could have been, but it works.
Anyone else seen this movie / have comments?

Are you talking the new David Lynch-directed movie, or the older one starring Nick Nolte and A BEAUTIFUL NAKED JENNIFER CONNOLLY?

As great as Mulholland Falls was, I was talking about the new David Lynch movie.
The one with the beautiful, naked Naomi Watts and her lesbian sex buddy.

I'm more partial to Eraserhead,Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway.
I remember when i saw firewalk with me for the first time back in the 90's.
That movie gave me nightmares for a week! I never understood the movie back then because i never saw the series. I bought the whole series along with firewalk recently.
Eraserhead was one of those movies that my mother took me to see back in the 70's that warped my mind.
That movie along with a clockwork orange really screwed my mind.
Not exactly the best movies for a 10 year old to see at the time but these movies are part of my favorite list of all time now.

I liked the book not the movie.
I really liked The Elephant man which is his first conventional movie.

Liked Mulholland Drive alot (yeah Naomi is a hottie blonde) and am also fan of, or at least admirer of most other Lynch efforts. Loved the original Twin Peaks series; one of the most original/odd/wonderful TV series ever, at least the first year.
Saw Eraserhead at an art theater in Tempe, AZ, 28 yrs ago and left wondering "what the hell was that". Didn't really like it.

Lost Highway is on my Netflix cue for a second viewing. Need to see it again since I don't remember it at all.
Thought Dune could have been much better (loved the book). Dune would actually be a great re-do particularly with current technology but emphasize the story and characters and don't go stupid with overdone special effects which is becoming the norm (unfortunately) for too many films (read Mummy whatever version).
