Buzzing Sound

hi,

I have RT 3000p powered sub woofer speaker (5 years old) and I just noticed a real loud buzzing sound when I turned on my receiver to watch a dvd last night. The other speakers are fine. What is causing this noise and can I have this fixed? if so what does it cost? and where do I ship it? I don't see any loose connections either.
