Here is my current two-channel music system:
Sherwood CD-7080 single CD player (with AR interconnect)
Hafler DH100 preamp (with AR interconnect to power amp)
Hafler DH220 power amp
Polk Rti4 speakers (with Kimber Cable)
Denon DRM-555 cassette deck
TEAC RW-D200 CD recorder
Most of the time, this will be for near-field listening. I put all my best eggs in the same basket. The TV system in the living room still sounds good. Peace.
