I need some help with AIM, mabey someone who uses it can tell what is up with my puter. So I cancel AOL about 2 weeks ago and am on a free trial with PeoplePC which is working pretty well and I am not getting dropped all the time like I was on AOL, but I cannot get the AIM to work.

I have tried to download the AIM software through a link on peoplepc two seperate occasions. What happens is everthing downloads then I get to the AIM screen which says to enter my existing AOL S/N and password or click on Get a Screen Name, since I no longer have an AOL account or name I click on GASN, and a Windows type screen pops up with a icons for the AIM system operating files, nothing about getting a Screen Name.

WTF?????
