Two days ago we had a rainstorm, the power flickered a couple times (no big pop or surge) and now all I get from my subwoofer is a low hum.
I have a PSW650 and a Harmon Kardon AVR-225. The woofer only hums when the receiver is in standby mode. When the receiver is off completely or on it does not hum.
All other speakers work, but I don’t seem to be getting any sound from the subwoofer. The whole system is protected by a “monster” surge protector.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
