i broke down and got the ICBM from outlaw audio. I use a klipsch promedia dd 5.1 as my processor in my home theater (remember all of the discussions weve had on that thing?!).
anyway, i felt being limited to a crossover point of 120 hz for bass management was really holding my thater back, so i figured i would give the ICBM a shot.
i orderred it about 2:00 p.m. 07/08/04 (yesterday)
while at my office, i got a call from my wife telling me i got 2 packages from Outlaw Audio (i did the package deal with 3 pairs of .5M interconnects)
so, as the subject line says, so far i am very impressed with Outlaw. When i actually hook up the unit, i'll give an update on the improvement if any. I know Ron-P uses the Klipsch Promedia in conjunction with the outlaw, and from what i remember, he seemed to be happy with it, so i am hoping for the same results

got home and saw the boxes, 3 pairs of .5M interconnects in one and the ICBM bass manager in the other. hooked it up, but only listenned for a short amount of time. (riding on my town's ambulance tonight) initially liked what i heard, i only tried the 60 hz setting, the bass seemed cleaner, and not as localized as when it was crossed over at 120 hz. with my set up (listing above), any pieces of advise as to where i should experiment (i can change crossover setting for each individual channel)

thanx
