Anyone have any info on this DVD player. I tried Denon's web site and audioreview and came up empty. I'm thinking about buying it.
Any help would be great, thanks.

*EDIT: I have a 2200.
Best picture quality I have seen yet on my RPTV.

I thought you had the 2200 - what's the difference in those two players?

OOPS! I read too quickly. Haven't heard of the 2000.

If it is indeed a 2000, not a misprint of the 2200, then it is probably an older model. Denon doesn't offer info on their older models, even though they may be for sale still on some websites. I would recommend not going with a 2000, unless you're sure it has all the up-to-date surround formats, etc. If it's really a steal, maybe it what it doesn't have you could live without. The picture won't be as good if it is from before they were using Faroudjia scanning chips.

Ok, I did find some info on it. Here is the link:

What would be a good price?

I would avoid it. No DTS and no Sil504 or Faroudja de-interlacer. If you want a kick butt Denon for cheap, get the Denon 910 refurbed from ecost.com.

That looks like an OLD unit. Denon has a nice line of DVD players on the market, check into the one that fits your budget.

Yeah, I checked it out further and decided not to get it.
I will wait for other deals...
Thanks everyone! :D
