Hello can somone recommend what kind of rears i should be using for my HT? I currently have Rti70's in the front, a csi40 for my center, and thanks to Bob i am going to have a pair of fxi50's for the surrounds. What kind of speaker model do you guys recommend for the 6.1 & 7.1 rears? I was thinking of maybe the rti28's or rti38's because they are the same model line. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

That sounds like a good plan ... especially if they can be mounted at least a few feet behind the listening area.

I'd go with 38's just to have 6's all the way around. But thats just me. You arent likely to notice a huge difference between 28's and 38's, unless you're pushing a good ammount of power (38's will take more I'm sure)

You want the 38's or matching center channel for 6.1.
Go for it!!!!
What receiver are you using?

I might be wrong, but isnt the 797 receiver an updated model of the 777? Nice specs for an AVR as I recall... I lusted after the 777 for a while.

My living room reciever is the 787. I recently sold my first DD reciever 555. That series is 6 years old. That 797 is a great unit.
