I built a box for 2 dx 12 and i have been playing them for about a month now and i just found a leak in the speaker terminal cups. DO you think this could have damaged my speakers? IT sounds bad and i don't know if it is the leak or the subs. DOes anyone know which one it could be?

The leaking box can damage the woofer's suspension which will in turn damage the woofers if driven too hard.
The DX and MOMO series are designed to be used in small sealed enclosures due to their
high cone displacement at low bass frequencies. These woofers need the vacuum of the sealed chamber to prevent over excursion and suspension damage. Seal the enclosure and re-listen to the subs. If they are still sounding bad, then return them to our service department
for exchange. The address is Polk Audio 2550 Britannia Boulevard
Suite D San Diego, CA. 92154. Include a short note with your name, address, daytime telephone number, description of the problem, and a copy of your receipt. We recommend shipping the subwoofers to us using UPS or FedEx.

Happy Box Sealing!!
