Ok I just bought my sister a set of FX500's from the ad board and wanted to know where and what kind of mount should I get for mounting to the ceiling?I would love to mount them behind her couch but the way her house it situated the living room turns in the kitchen so theres a wall about 25 feet behind the couch which is the kitchen.Theres really no way to mount them from the sides because theres a glass windows on the right side and the living room is over on the right side so I guess the best way is to put them from the ceiling behind the couch? What do you guys think?:)

PW,
I thought about that but they will be practically on top of the couch due to the fact that the kitchen table is 3 feet back from there couch.I'm going to take a photo of the inside of there house and post it here and see what you guys think.Like they say a pic is worth a 1000 words......

You can use Omnimounts. Polk sells the smaller ones, but for the 500's you'll need larger mounts. Check out www.omnimount.com. I was going to mount my 1000's in back but decided to go inwalls and sell the extra pair to dr. spec. One note, you'll have to drill holes in the back for mounting. I checked this with Polk and they cleared it for the 1000's.
