would you share some experience on this kind of player, and where to get a decent one?
Any problem at all when you pay DVD with region code other than 1?
Thanks

My Denon DVD2800 had the latest firmware added to it when I bought it new. That included multi-region decoding but I have never had a DVD that required this. But it has played everything I through at it.

Most of the really cheap APEX players can be hacked to be multiregion - usually with a set of remote codes. Some of them require a firmware upgrade, but others do it out the box. I have an Apex AD-3201, which can be multiregion. I have never had the need to use it.

You can add Daewoo and Samsung to the list too. My brother bought a Samsung all region player when he was "in transit" thru Singapore. You will probably find them in Asian markets. Kris
