Well thanks to Cliff passing on these Gems i just picked up some Monitor 10's from a local seller, these things a freaking Spotless. Only problem was 1 bad tweet which i am hopefully getting from Madmax, for the meantime i swapped a SL2000 from one of my 7's. These things sound freaking sweet.

Oh yeah can you say 51.00 muhahahahah

Just if you were curious the size diff in the M10 and m7, one thing i noticed to when swapping the tweets was these thing were made less than 2 months from each other in 87'

Yes nice indeed!!! I actually bid and won these speakers thinking they might not go this cheap initially... After i got the Tube amp and paul mentioned wanting a pair and wanting these... I let him have dibs and setup the meet for him and the seller... I am glad you like them and got them sooo cheap.. We plan to have a demo/BBQ after i get my tubes and try the ST70 on the M10's... Enjoy the pics look great!!

Now sell me those 7's :)

Damn, those look like they are in great shape. Someone must've really taken good care of em.

Damn, those are nicer than mine. They were worth the $150 I paid for them, so those were a freakin steal.

I really like the sound of mine, too. Nothing like some vintage Polk.

Edit- Just wanted to comment on the bass from these. I'm so surprised at the extension into the low end on these speakers. Whatever Polk did with the passive radiator design, they did damn well. See my post in the Off Topic section about blowing my one light out :D

I agree, nothing like the Vintage Polks. Up next maybe some SDA's
???

Yeah they guy drove a new Mercedes C230 sedan, older and could tell he takes care of his stuff.. Said they were in the closet for 8 years, and couldt figure out why one sounded muffled??? Um can you say tweet was dead. As soon as i hooked them up i knew automaticlly..Madmax is sending out the sl2000 tomorrow. So i'll just keep the one from one of the 7's in there till it arrives Total investment <100.00 and they are VERY MINTY! :)

Are those 10B's, then?

Not too sure, i actually think they are C's given that they use the sl2000 and they were manufactured around the same time as my 7C's. 87'

I didn't know there was such a thing as C's. Polk is weird, tho. I have 10A Series II speakers. Have the SL2500 tweeter, and I think that's the only difference (or at least, I've been told).

Well not too sure about the M 10's but with the 7A's they used Peerless tweets, then B and C they used their own. But yeah the Serial numbers say A B and the C's dont say C just monitor 10 or 7
