title says it all... I want to upgrade a few more componets with an IEC socket and new power cord and can't find these anywhere... The type like your PC uses is what i mean....

If you do a search in yahoo for "diy ac cords" you'll get a bunch of hits that sell iec sockets/plugs...

Here are some inexpensive sockets (http://dkc1.digikey.com/US/PDF/T042/M7.html) , just click on AC receptacles 1092.

I have been getting mine recently from www.partsconnexion.com I have been ordering caps for the Tosh 3950 upgrades & with the same order I also purchased futuretech iec mounts ( gold plated $7 ea & rhodium $11 ea) They also have DH lab Power Plus Power cable at good prices. I get the Iec for the cable from & the plug end (wattgate hospital grade) from parts express.

You can also get the FURUTECH IEC's at, http://www.harmonictech.com/harmonic_products_furutech.asp

Furutech's rhodium ones are the best available.
