Pick up some older Advents. You'll cry and rethink music.

I've just retired my New Advents after 25 years. They have been replaced by a pair of rt55is. They were great speakers in their day (and even now they will outperform many of todays speakers). I still have the original foam woofer surround intact and they are in good shape...just a little tired. In a side by side with the 55s you could tell the difference in clarity. I've thought about selling them but I may keep them hooked up in another room.

Yeah, those 55s are hard to beat. I'm glad to hear the Advents lasted so long.
