Well guys, I get my demo tomorrow tonight, on a Marantz seperates system. So, negotiation may be in order also.....

I plan on taking a few Franklins with me, just in case.

I'll report back late tomorrow night.....

Cheers,
Russ

I'm anxiously awaiting the demo, and choosing music selections now...

So far:

Dave Matthews - Crash
Joe Walsh - The Confessor
SRV - Greatest Hits
Alice In Chains - Dirt
Diana Krall - When I Look in your eyes
Pink Floyd - Works
Rush - Moving Pictures
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Sheryl Crow - Tuesday night music club
Gustav Holst - The Planets
Counting Crows - August and everything after
Sweet Relief Benefit CD - (Pearl Jam - Crazy Mary)
Muddy Waters - Greatest Hits

Of course, I may need to narrow that down a bit, the guy may not want me there for 3 hrs.....

Any final suggestions on selections? (you sda gurus, anything that utilizes the sda effect more than most?)

Cheers,
Russ

Dire Straits - Brothers in arms (or whatever you have, good stuff)
Pink Floyd Works? how about The Darkside of the Moon?
I always show off SDA with Rodger Waters' Amused to death.

you should hear some nice stuff with what you have picked, be sure they are set up correctly and your listening position is correct, he should have the manual showing the correct set-up.

If you have any crosby stills nash and young, hendrix, janet or michael jackson, prince, some metalica, most any thing from the early 70's, oh yea, especially 9 inch nails take it with you! Be wary, the stuff you think may sound great is often very ordinary, the stuff you don't is often the gem. Good luck!
