We have one here as we speak and another which makes the third in a month... we have had rain and very windy conditions all day... This hurricane stretches from Ga - the end of florida keys.. covers the whole state/. we lost power for about 3 hours today and we just got up a few minutes ago.. The south of us got it alot harder then us.. But still very stressfull to say the least.. heres a picture of a palm in my neighbors yard blowing over on top.. i have a few minutes of video but dont know how to stream it ...

This is the second, Charlie being the first and biggest in history to have hit the tampa bay area, but didnt... Hurricane francis was the largest (spanning the whole state at one time) to hit the bay area.. and now we have ivan, which is the first time a hurricane has ever been to a cat 4 this far out in the atlantic... I swear its record breaking year for huricanes... all 3 are making history... Thank God non have done major damage to our area, however i feel for the people down south from us.. if you think the media is bad now.. those people in polk county and some lower cities are devastated... millions in damage and about 20 people dies between the 2 storms... terrible to say the least. It causes alot of stress when you have kids and a family to worry about and a house with personal possesions that could be gone just like that. Lets all prey for these people who have already lost everything. Our tv has been nothing but news on the storms... when the power isnt out, My brother in-law lost power from about noon yesterday and at 10 pm it was still out.

Oh well, the video doesnt look bad, as it was from my door... but it was pretty windy and rainy all day... with all the large tree's around us, i was waiting for one to fall down...

After seeing all the bad weather my next purchase is a generator. I can't believe more than 6 million people without electricity.

I hope all is well with you and your Cliff and the same with all of Florida.
