Josh is a P-I-M-P with the hot chic in his car. Its definitely custom. None of his other competitors have that in their install. She's optimized for SQ performance.

Oh my gosh! A GIRL on the forums? How in the hell did that happen? What's next? Dogs and cats sleeping together? It's PANDEMONIUM!
Guys, lighten up! No wonder persons of the feminine persuasion don't hang around long!
Buncha' freakin' leg humpers!
This girl has a new Accord that is in desperate need of some upgrades. I say one of you installers volunteer some of your valuable time to help her out.
I, of course, am too busy to deal with such trivial persons as K.T.:D

Don't tell him that... or he'll REALLY go off.
But if you really want him to go off, get him on the topic of the Civic or some competitors in IASCA (not going to name names).

Ive noticed on other forums a lot of people grumbling about IASCA. That org coming apart at the seams? I guess its good for SLAP and MECA.
bknauss

The people that compete mostly in IASCA are some of the biggest whiners in the world. Its generally funny to see that the biggest, most outspoken, ones are the ones who historically have bad cars against competition. Yea, they might have placed third or whatnot at however many finals, but there's usually a huge difference between that person and the person who placed above them. The guys who know how to build a good car usually are the most quiet (Eldridge, Biggs, etc).
Anyhoo, a lot of people are getting tired of IASCA. Its not a terrible org or anything, but it costs a lot, there aren't enough shows, and some other dinky stupid things. And some people hate the judging rules (I've seen judges literally moving the car by the battery, the battery barely budges, but points are taken off because the battery isn't "secure enough"... wtf!). A lot of people have said they like MECA's judging style, and SLAP seems to be growing pretty well in the East and the Midwest.
Enough of my rant.

Over on the Carsound forum there was a case where an IASCA judge at the finals actually removed 2 layers of protection from the power wire all the way to the copper then docked him for termination.
Then theres the judge claiming all competitors will cheat.
Then the judge that claims there is no perfect car and she'll be stingy with points.
It seems the judges over there are starting to take themselves to seriously from what Ive read. My gawd, we aint building rockets here.

I think everyone in IASCA who writes rules or enforces rules (judges) need to remember one thing: the install rules should be about keeping the car safe under usual use. If you need to usea lot of force to remove heat shrink from cables to see if there's a possible short, there probably is a 99.9% chance it will never short. Stupid crap like that...
