hi can i twist two 8 guage together to make four guage for do i hav to buy a four gauge for my power capacitor.

You can parallel the two 8 gauge cables to increase the current capability of the wire, but I would be more concerned about the termination of these cables. Plus the outer diameter of the two cables will be larger than using a single 4 gauge wire. From a installation point of view it will look better using a single cable.

Yea, I just replaced my single 8 gauge to one 4 gauge to a 8 gauge splitter (fused), just hit the distrobution box underneath the carpet of the passenger footrest.
