Is the JD-100 and JD-100a one and the same? I see some places online using the A and some not.

There's one at a local pawn shop but they seemed to be asking quite a bit for it and it's been there for a long time. I'm pretty sure it would be unmodified which is what I'd prefer. Is there anything I should be aware of while checking it out?

Have you tried e-mailing the folks at Jolida for an answer? When you find out, please let me know. I have the same question.

Thanks.

100 and 100a seem to be used interchangably in all the reviews I've been able to find. Most retailers, online sellers, and Jolida themselves reference it as JD-100A.

That's kinda what I figured. Thanks. :)

The local pawnshop is asking $900CDN for it. That's give or take $730US. Not much of a deal in my mind considering I don't know the history of the unit. I may try and lowball them and see what their return policy is to give it a shot.

They are selling on Audiogon in the stock form for about $650.00 US. If you add shipping and the duty crap, $900.00 CDN isn't that bad.

It's not too bad but I'm not in the market for a new source unless the price is right. I usually don't count in duty and shipping. As hard as it is, I try buy on this side of the border to avoid the duty.

I still need speakers first. ;)
