Ive had this 100watt TEAC reciever since 1991 and though its not my ideal amp its all I have for now.
My problem is this: The reciever is a AG-V1200 Dolby Surround with 4 speaker ports for front (2 speakers for A and 2 speakers for B) and 2 speakers for the rear. Ever since Ive had this amp Ive never been able to get the front B speaker ports to work. There is a selection switch on the front but doesnt seem to help. Im wondering if there could be some internal fuse thats blown or if the ports are even hooked up. Is there a way to fry that portion of the circuit?
Im just not sure.
Also, there's a switch on the back that can be selected to either 8ohm or 4ohm do you guys know what this is for? Could it have anything to do with the speaker jacks not working?
I'll probably take it to a local repair guy but wanted to run it by you guys to see if anyone had suggestions.
Thanks
