Polk Fest '04 (Rumble in the Jungle) will be forever immortalized in the next isue of the Polk newspaper. Of course neither Al nor I took any pix. Whoever has hi res pix, especially group shots and a shot of the wall of speakers in the LR, please pass them on to me this week.

Yeah Paul, I was waiting on Justin to give me the ID / PASS, so I could distribute it to the guys that took photos.

EVERYTHING would be in the Showcase (just like the Texas gathering), so you could take what you wanted.

I haven't heard back from him in over a week, don't want to bust his chops, figured he was REALLY busy. Last convo was 'I'll try to have it done today if possible'.

The showcase only takes low res photos to keep the file size down. So that alone is not an answer to my photos needs as we prefer hi res for reprinting in the newspaper. Still, we should get that Showcase thing up.

Does anyone know if Polk Paul got my pictures? I haven't heard from him if my E-mails have worked.

But on the other hand haven't got any bad email message back saying it didn't work. Just Love to see some of my pictures in print, but then again just love to help Polk Paul out.

We had a power outage today - I was sent home before I even got to work today! Our mail servers were shut down for the day, so he'll probably get back with your tomorrow.

Apparently, a woman's car rolled down the hill in the back of our office building and smashed into our generator.

COOL! I'll have more details tomorrow.

No she doesn't work for Polk. She came out of the Comcast parking lot so maybe she works for them. Another reason to hate the cable company! NOBODY took photos of the accident! Duh.
